My name is Ken Madison and on this blog I hope to share with you some of the pictures that I have taken and information that I gathered while I am enjoying one of my favorite hobbies, railfanning.
The majority of the pictures will be of the BNSF, KCS and UP railroads that run through central, eastern and northeast Oklahoma. On occasion I travel to other states, Texas, Kansas, etc. and hope to include pictures from those journeys.

SOO in Oklahoma
While railfanning in January 09 of this year, heard BNSF Avard DS give a warrant to a SOO engine. Took of to the west of Tulsa, OK & caught the Kiowa, OK-Clark, OK (U-KIOCAK) empty rock train east bound to Tulsa.
